چکیده

In the automotive domain, vast majority of testing is performed through simulations, which can validate a system design before actual implementation and emphasize eventual faults in process. Hence, simulation utmost importance. Behavioral models are necessary for creation each electronic device desired system, some components have very complex behavior: low-dropout linear voltage regulators (LDOs), gate drivers, switching regulators. industry, LDOs essential because they power all other subsystems accurate behavior needed to make sure that behaves as reality. LDO already commercially available most their intrinsic characteristics modeled (dropout voltage, line regulation, load etc.). However, one characteristic extremely useful, yet hardest model, supply rejection ratio (PSRR). This paper proposes new PSRR modeling technique The was an product Texas Instruments portfolio, has simulated using PSpice Allegro simulator OrCAD Capture CIS environment.

Voltage References and Low Dropout Linear Regulators

Reference circuits and linear regulators actually have much in common. In fact, the latter could be functionally described as a reference circuit, but with greater current (or power) output. Accordingly, almost all of the specifications of the two circuit types have great commonality (even though the performance of references is usually tighter with regard to drift, accuracy, etc.). This chapte...

A CMOS Voltage Reference Based on Weighted VGS for CMOS Low-Dropout Linear Regulators

A CMOS voltage reference, which is based on the weighted difference of the gate–source voltages of an NMOST and a PMOST operating in saturation region, is presented. The voltage reference is designed for CMOS low-dropout linear regulators and has been implemented in a standard 0.6m CMOS technology ( 0 9 V at 0 C). The occupied chip area is 0.055 mm. The minimum supply voltage is 1.4 V, and the ...

Variable Supply Voltage for Low Power DSP

The use of dynamically adjustable power supplies as a method to lower power dissipation in DSP is analyzed. Power can be cut substantially without sacrificing performance in applications where the computational workload changes with time. If latency can be tolerated, buffering data and averaging processing rate can yield further power reduction. Continuous variation of the supply voltage can be...

Ultra Low Power Capless Low-Dropout Voltage Regulator

Modern power management System-on-a-Chip (SoC) design demands for fully integrated solutions in order to decrease certain costly features such as the total chip area and the power consumption while maintaining or increasing the fast transient response to signal variations. Low-Dropout (LDO) voltage regulators, as power management devices, must comply with these recent technological and industri...
